BJC 5786 Membership

Dear Friends,

As the summer winds down and the countdown to Chodesh Elul begins, we look back with gratitude to Hakadosh Baruch Hu for an incredible year at BJC – strong davening, enriching learning, joyous simchas, and a deeply connected kehilla. With your partnership, we look forward to 5786 as a year of continued growth, inspiration, and achdus.

A Look Ahead – Coming Up This Year at BJC
Aside from our hallmark annual events and some new engaging programming ideas for all ages coming up this year, we will dedicate a lecture series in Rabbi David Rebibo זצ״ל's memory.
We will also continue strengthening BJC’s back-end infrastructure to serve our community more efficiently and effectively. With the Transition Board now in place and already hard at work, BJC is on track for the major milestone of electing a full executive board in early 2026. In addition, we are planning on incrementally upgrading our entire sanctuary space this year to make it more comfortable and versatile, beginning before Rosh Hashanah. Stay tuned for an opportunity to dedicate tables or reserve seats.

Membership Renewal for 5786
We have maintained our reduced dues structure again this year to keep membership accessible to all. If you’re able, please consider increasing your level of support or selecting a donor tier to help us sustain and expand our offerings and receive a special gift.

Please Note:
•    Kibbudim: Rosh Hashanah kibbudim (aliyos, pesicha, hagba, and gelila) will be auctioned live. Minimum bid for aliyos: $360; other honors: $180. Pre-bids may be submitted using the form or by replying to this email.
•    Payment: Membership dues should be paid, or a monthly payment plan set up, by Monday, September 1, 2025. For questions or special arrangements, contact President Jay Schechter at 602-622-2055.
•    Outstanding Balances: If you have any outstanding pledges or other balances from the prior year, we kindly ask that those be settled as part of this year’s renewal process.
•    Reserved Seats: Reserved seats with name plaques will be available as part of the upcoming sanctuary seating campaign. If you'd like to secure your seat, please keep an eye out for that announcement.

Thank you for helping us continue build a shul that serves as a Makom Torah, a Mishkan Tefillah, and a focal point of chesed and kehila. We can’t wait to continue growing together in 5786.
