Rabbi David Rebibo has served as the Spiritual Leader and the founding Rabbi since Beth Joseph Congregation's inception in 1965. Rabbi Rebibo was born in Morocco, and after studying in Europe became a close Talmid of HaRav Avraham Kalmanovitch zt”l, the Rosh Hayeshiva of The Mirrer Yeshiva in New York. Rabbi Rebibo brings over fifty years of experience to the community today. Central to all Jewish life in Phoenix, Rabbi Rebibo is Chairman of the Board of Orthodox Rabbis, Rav HaMachshir of the Vaad HaKashruth of Greater Phoenix, and Founder and Dean of the Phoenix Hebrew Academy.

Rabbi Isaacs grew up in Binghamton, NY. After studying in classical-style yeshivot in the US and meeting his wife Rachel, he traveled to Israel to pursue studies in a more innovative Talmudic Studies program - Yeshivas Shaarei Meir (now Birkas Mordechai). Later, at the Jerusalem Kollel, Rabbi Isaacs received Rabbinical Ordination from Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits and also joined its staff and was responsible for evaluating students’ qualifications for ordination. In addition to his love of Socratic teaching, Jewish history, and reading all kinds of English and Hebrew books, he enjoys mountain biking, many types of music and meeting new people. Rabbi Isaacs is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America.
Rabbi Eli Putney

Before coming to Phoenix Rabbi Putney spent eleven years living in Israel, during which time he studied in some of the best rabbinical schools available and received his ordination. Rabbi Putney worked for five years in special programs for troubled teens with substance abuse and societal integration issues. Most recently Rabbi Putney was a field representative for the Star-K Kashruth agency overseeing kosher food production in China.
