Rabbi Isaacs grew up in Binghamton, NY.  After studying in classical-style yeshivot in the US and meeting his wife Rachel, he traveled to Israel to pursue studies in a more innovative Talmudic Studies program - Yeshivas Shaarei Meir (now Birkas Mordechai).  Later, at the Jerusalem Kollel, Rabbi Isaacs received Rabbinical Ordination from Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits and also joined its staff and was responsible for evaluating students’ qualifications for ordination.  In addition to his love of Socratic teaching, Jewish history, and reading all kinds of English and Hebrew books, he enjoys mountain biking, many types of music and meeting new people.  Rabbi Isaacs is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America.
